Very nice, family place with relaxed atmosphere and good food at reasonable price. Our group of 7 enjoyed everything we ate. From the stuffed Mahi Mahi, Seafood wrap, Crabby Mac, to a Cheese Burger. The crab dip app was awesome too. We will return and I would recommend to anyone in the neighborhood looking for a nice meal.

Great atmosphere and perfect food for a Labor Day weekend late lunch. Our server Jennifer was fantastic, perfect drink recommendations and just the right amount of attentive. My entree salad, Taste of the Chesapeake was amazing, old bay ranch dressing was delicious. Highly recommend!

Great location great value and fantastic food. Crabby Mac... Try it you must! Waterside dining fills up quick and parking can be a bit of a pain but if you haven't eaten here, you're missing out.

My g/f and I had been here before a couple times. Last time we came here, it was an one hour wait, so we left and went to Sunset Cove instead. However, past saturday, the g/f wanted to go there again. We got there around 8:30ish, the raven's game is already on. The bar was packed w/a band ready to play. The dining area is busy but with a few tables empty. The deck seating was packed with, of course, 1 hour wait. We were starving, so we elect inside dining instead. We ordered a crab nacho for app. It was good, the chips are thin and fresh. The crab meat; however, is rather wet. Probably out of those plastic containers. My g/f ordered a chicken wrap, and I had a grilled chicken sandwich. So in reality, we both had the same grilled chicken. Both of our chickens were good, and came with UTZ potato chips. Overall experience were fine, except I noticed something odd. There is a family sitting on a table that had plastic table cloth. It was a fold out table and chairs, right in the middle of the dining room. Odd. Also, there was one busboy that was extremely careless. He knocked over a few chairs, including one that actually hit my chair. Oh and since I have never sat inside until past saturday, all TVs are not in HD....just a side note.

Great food at a great price in a perfect location. It was very busy but it didn't take long to get a seat outside on the dock. Very reasonable entrees and appetizers. Mussels were delicious. Try the bread pudding for desert.

This is an awesome waterfront restaurant in Eastern Baltimore County that is probably often overlooked due to the fierce competition in the area! My husband and I enjoyed a quiet dinner on their porch/pier. Our service was good and the food was great. We enjoyed crab dip, seafood pizza, and shrimp scampi. The portions are ample and even when sharing there were tons of leftovers. Their dreamsicle crush was better than Sunset Cove's! (Gasps!) They often have restaurant.com certificates and accept reservations. It can be a little pricey, but for an occasional treat check it out!

One word - Delicious! Keep this in mind, when entering this restaurant - never judge a book by it's cover. It wasn't the most attractive of restaurants on the outside and within. Seems as though my family and I arrived during happy hour. It was loud and crowded and already I was judging - my mistake. No room to seat us inside, so we dined in their insulated/heat lamped back area. We were cozy and it was quiet. Everyone was friendly, our nearby dining patrons, our waitress and bus boy. Seems as though several other diners were celebrating birthdays as well. The hubby started off with crab soup. It tasted just like my mom's, minus the floating alphabets. The right amount of veg to crab, in an appealing tomato/old bay broth. Mom and I got the caesar salad, with plenty of zing in our dressing, shavings of fresh parmesan cheese & homemade croutons. We also ordered the shrimp scampi. OMG was that good! The noodles silken with the right amount of lemon, garlic, butter and fat shrimp - served with spicy, garlic toast. Yum, yum and yum! Don't skip out on the desserts. Mom and I split a bread pudding, with ice cream on the side; my child devoured his brownie/ice-cream dessert and the hubby showed no struggle finishing the peanut butter cream pie.

Last night we were craving seafood and found this restaurant on our app. Its hidden away and at first we werent sure about going in but because of its reviews we decided to give it a try. I'm so happy that we did! We sat in the bar and Bobby was our bartender. He made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. We ordered the steamed 1/2 pound of shrimp and crab dip w/ pita bread to start. My partner had the chicken and shrimp pasta and I ordered the shrimp scampi (both came with side salads) Everything tasted amazing and came in a timely manner. The portions were larger than we expected when we ordered but nothing was wasted. The prices were reasonable and well worth it.

Carson's Creekside is one of my absolute favorites!! very kid friendly, the servers automatically bring the younger diners their food first. Kids under 5 eat free, Apps are excellent. Crab egg rolls, seafood potato skins and more. Food is always fantastic. They have a great selection of $10.00 lunch and dinner specials, too. Staff is friendly and very accommodating. Overall a wonderful choice for lunch or dinner.

On my trips to Baltimore to get my Dad out, we tried Carson's for a first time dinner. This secluded piece of seafood heaven with a river view produced! Do you know how hard it is to find a decent seafood restaurant with level-headed prices? Found one! Crab soups: hit the spot, even for a native Batimoron in DC since '97. My Dad got NY Strip steak: ok. Crab encrusted Rockfish: You got me! Excellent outside (crust) & inside (your striper!) Coffee, dessert and the timing for a very lively, busy restaurant worked: Laura, our waitress was in synch with us & a real delight. We have definite plans to return to explore their Soft crabs. Can't wait!

My favorite place on the water. We used to live in the neighborhood and we keep coming back. Good food done well. Not spectacular but I don't like overpriced spectacular food anyway. Good service, great atmosphere, friendly, and nice views. Take a walk in the park next door before or after dinner. Pull up in your boat if you have one... Grilled or blackened fish is good, Santa Fe pasta, steaks, and don't forget to get the sweet potato fries. Good place to watch a game or listen to a band. Take a deep breath and relax...

It's only worth going if you can sit outside on the river. Other than that, the food is bland and overpriced, as are the drinks. The service isn't anything special, and the inside is very outdated.

I have never been so uncomfortable in a place. It started before I even got in the door with a snotty customer because we got to a parking spot before him. Which carried into dirty looks all night from a large group. They weren't busy at all. The inside had maybe 5 tables and outside 5. Seated immediately. It took us 20 minutes for our drinks. We ordered our food at 6:30. We didn't see our food until 9:00! I thought the crab pretzel was mushy and didn't make it through half. My steamed shrimp came out cold. We saw our waitress at least no more than 3 times that night. Never again.

Today's CBS Local Offer emailed coupon reminded me to leave a review. A little out of the way from where we live, we would make it a point to travel to Carson's for happy hour and then dinner. We would always sit in the bar when we visited, no matter what the season, we just loved the water view. Because of our timing (3p-6p), we were always serviced by an older gentleman with glasses (bartender). The service he provided initially, about 2 years ago, was fine, but started to diminish upon each visit. We would finish or drinks, place them on the edge of the bar, and wait 10-15 minutes while he leaned on the bar, talking to his regulars, or take another persons order right next to us and not even notice our empty drinks or ask if we needed another round. We would have to ask each time for another drink, and no, the place wasn't busy or busy enough because he would eat his lunch or shoot bull with servers/staff. The second issue were the specials. We liked the option of trying something different, off the menu, but he advised us that they weren't available after summer. Either way, we decided during our last visit (in October) that it would be our last. Unfortunately, we loved the other customers we chatted with, the view was awesome, and the food was always fresh and delicious, we just didn't care for the lack of service we would get the last few visits. We found another location nearby, with a similar view, good food, and service that doesn't require us to wave glasses around when we needed another drink. -Chris Vance

My wife and I wanted to check this place out and we were not impressed. We ordered Commodore Toast and Chicken-Shrimp pasta. The Commodore Toast's tasted pretty awful with its canned cream of mushroom sauce; the Chicken-Shrimp was better, but that's not saying much. On top of that, meals are overpriced. The wait staff were really friendly, the view is nice, but the decor is neglected and dated. If you have low expectations and a subpar palate, check it out; others, I'd advise to skip this joint.

To Mary S. who wrote her review dated Nov 8, 2014. I was there that night with three others. We were seated on the enclosed deck at the exit to the pier. The incident you referred to was certainly unfortunate, but not Carson's fault. One of their drunken patrons went outside to the smoking pier and proceeded to relive himself right into the river. That's right....he used the river as his restroom! When he came back onto the enclosed deck, we told him that was uncalled for and to use the restroom inside, like civilized people. He got offended and ugly and insisted it was okay because he walked to the far end of the dock, which was a lie. Thank goodness for Jennifer, who stepped in and escorted the guy into the bar area, where he quickly caused more troubled that led to the altercation in front. He was one of a large group who arrived on a booze-cruise bus. I am sure the owners and staff regret the incident. Hopefully, the guy is banned from returning. Once he left, we had our usual enjoyable meal. I urge you to give Carson's another try. My wife and I recommend it to everyone. We can't comment on wine since we are not wine drinkers. All we can say is that we have never had a bad meal at Carson's.

What a great place! We came here for our Valentine's dinner. Really good food (chicken risotto was amazing; Commodores Toast was good, rich but a tad salty). The hand-breaded mozzarella had a great texture. I want to go back soon and try some of the $10 winter specials, like the pot roast, the roast turkey dinner and the chicken pot pie. With a great view and a cozy fire in the fireplace it was a pleasant experience. We will definitely be back soon!

So, when I walked in and sat at the bar, one girl looked at me like I'd puked on the bar and walked past. Another bartender came over, got me my drink and a menu and we were off! Chicken risotto is amazing but I had the crabby Mac with a $10 bottle of wine. Yup, you read that right! My salad came out and I was expecting iceberg with Kens neon yellow honey mustard. The salad was fresh romaine (too many years in essex, I know) This must be homemade dressing, because it had Dijon mustard and bacon in it-very nice. Crabby Mac was too much to eat in one sitting, but SO good. A nice place, maybe some of the servers need a smack in the head, but well worth it. Oh, also, DIRT CHEAP!!!

Great place. It's pretty and clean. The food is excellent with reasonable prices. There is lots of parking and a golf cart ride to the front door. The place sits right on the river with boat parking. 7 people had seven different dishes with appetizers and everything was great. I recommend the chicken Isabella and crabby mac.

Never disappointing. My wife and I new favorite place by the water. The steam mussels are fantastic and you want to keep the sauce to dip bread into. The seafood wrap gives you the best of both worlds. A crab cake and shrimp salad. I highly recommend Carson's Creek.

I called around 9:00am to see if they were taking reservations, the girl who answered said they were not but we could come around 7pm. I just figured thats when the dinner rush would die down. So my son and I started the drive towards Middle River to meet my sister, her three children and my parents, it was a 1.5 hour drive. We thought we would meet around 3:00 to avoid the lunch and dinner rush. I get there and the hostess said "we are sorry but weve been booked with reservations for two weeks." : ( Thats not was conveyed over the phone earlier. Another hostess asked how many we had in our party, I told her 7. She asked me to wait about 10 minutes to see if she could find us a table in the bar area. We waited 20 minutes and were seated and enjoyed a fabulous dinner. The staff were amazing! Special shout to Lisa the bar manager who ended up finding us room. I was so happy that she worked it out for us. Thanks again Lisa we will be back on a normal day. Happy Mother's Day.

I would say its a nice little place on the water. Nice food, not great. Service needed a little bit of help though. If you have some time to spare it's no problem. Mac dish was very good but service was slow.

Love! The hosts Gary & Debbie could not be nicer people. Why go to one of those chains in White Marsh when you can get great food right in your own backyard! Their food is consistently good as is the service. They also have terrific and smart bartenders.

Lovely - not! A waitress and a whole group of people having a huge fight right out front of the restaurant. Literally people holding them back, and f-bombs flying everywhere. Tried to take my sister from VA and mom out for some nice MD seafood on the water, and talk about shady! I was so embarrassed at my choice. Best wine they had was Barefoot, yikes! I had some good wine in the car and they wouldn't do a corkage service. Waitress offered us some Seafood Creol-ey! I will never set foot in this place again.

I am a huge fan of the Carson's Creekside Restaurant! The staff is always friendly and food is outstanding! If you're looking for a great atmosphere to enjoy the fresh air in the Spring and Summer, you can sit at one of the many tables on Carson's expansive deck. If you're for quiet dining, there's always the nicely decorated dining room. AND, if you're looking for light fare with some music, a chance to watch the local sports teams or to get your drink on, there's the bar area. I've enjoyed Carson's so much that I've held my company's Christmas Party there, the past two (2) years. Overall, you can't go wrong at Carson's Creekside Restaurant!

Yum! Firstly, I have to give our waitress (whose name I forget) tons of credit for doing a great job of handling our party of 25+ people. We were all there on a Wednesday so most of us took advantage of the prime rib special, as well as the two-for-one beers. There was a live band, or maybe it was just one guy, who was playing on the bar side of the restaurant, which added some nice ambiance. I got to try the crab pretzel, which was loaded with creamy crab and cheese. A few people at my table ordered the mussels and the crab dip. The crab dip looked like what was loaded onto the crab pretzel so I'm sure it was delicious and the mussels got rave reviews. For my entree, I had the prime rib, just plain - you can get it blackened, black & blue, with crab on top, or with a crab cake for a bit more money - with a side salad and sweet potato fries. I asked for medium rare but it came out well done, so that was disappointing. However, we had such a huge party of people, I couldn't be too harsh. The meat itself was flavorful and delicious, despite the overdone-ness, and I loved the horseradish. The salad was nothing special - romaine lettuce with two tomato wedges, two cucumber slices, and a slice of red onion. The sweet potato fries were crisp and yummy. The place itself is kind of dingy looking - it just looks weathered and used, not dirty - but the location is awesome. There's outdoor seating (that's tarped for cold weather) and a dock that you can walk out on. The sunset was really pretty from there. On a side note, the parking lot isn't v. large so it fills up quickly. I ended up parking across the street adjacent to a park where some kids were playing. Overall, a pleasant experience.

Having lived on Long Island, NY for most of my life, I am used to well prepared fresh seafood and this meal was out-of-this-world!! I had the Commodores Toast that was so wonderful that I couldn't stop eating it. I left only one piece of the four pieces of toast. (see other people's photos ... this is the BEST) My friend, Julie, who does not care for seafood had the Sirloin Wedge Salad and it was fantastic ... came with a TON of blue cheese and she ate the whole thing. The brownie/ice cream dessert was just too much for the two of us to share but it was fantastic. The view from our table on the deck was terrific. I live in northern Virginia and Julie lives in Michigan so we REALLY enjoyed our afternoon by the water. A great place to catch up on old times and to renew our friendship. Thank you to MELISSA, our terrific waitress, and the friendly people at Carson's Creekside and to my nephew, Eric for recommending it to me.

We just left Carson's after our first dining experience. The food was great and our server Tabitha was wonderful! Highly recommend the crab pretzel appetizer and the Blackened Mahi Mahi. The ducks in the water below the outside seating area added an entertainment value to our experience but I can see some people not wanting to listen to the noise. We will definitely be back!

This place has it all. Dining room, waterfront dining area and a large bar which is tastefully separated from the dining area. Great appetizers like their calamari and crab pretzel. They have good seafood too, but my fave is still the Sante Fe Chicken Pasta, man it is awesome. Thursday night kareoke is fun. Come by boat or by car. I once had a problem with my bill and not only did the manager take care of the problem apologetically fast, she gave me a gift certificate in hopes I come back. Nice to see successful places actually caring what the customer thinks.

Food was good but the atmosphere was not. It was so loud in the restaurant that my ears were ringing. Couldn't even have a conversation with the people at my table. We were a little upset when we ordered asparagus and only received 4 pieces for $4. So overall is was an average experience.

Excellent lunch. Flew into Martin State airport for Indy race and airport FBO recommended Carson's. Ate crab dip for appetizer...excellent. Salad before main course...fresh and excellent, had Commodores Toast for entree which was recommended by Tabatha, our very friendly waitress. Said it was one of the most popular dishes. It was again, excellent! Tabatha was very, very good, made sure we had what we needed at the appropriate times. We ended up ordering more food for our passengers to take with us. Highly recommend Carson's!

It was a bit hard to find this place, but I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. The place was packed on a Friday but the wait staff in the bar area was extremely attentive. Appetizers and food all arrived promptly. I had a crab pretzel and penne with alfredo sauce. Both were tasty and amazing! There was a live band that night, but they didn't play too loud so you couldn't hear a conversation. The crowd that night could be described as the kind of people you might see shopping at Costco -- casual, down-to-earth middle-aged people. Not young hipsters or anything. I would definitely consider going back in the summer when they have outdoor seating and a view of the water. And now I know how to get there without getting lost!

A little out of my neighborhood, but good find. We went here for a girls night dinner and everything ranged from okay to great. The menu is very extensive and has everything from easy on your pocketbook sandwiches to larger seafood and meat entrees. The view outside is beautiful and gets 4.5 stars but it was really hot so we sacrificed a little and sat inside. The decor is a little hokey, but it is clean and nice. Our server was the sweetest girl who answered all of our questions, kept our drinks full, and let us stay for over 3 hours! I had a crab pretzel as an appetizer and it gets 6 stars because I've never had a better crab pretzel. My friends each had either Maryland Crab soup or Cream of Crab. I'm not a fan of Maryland Crab soup, but it got good reviews. The Cream of Crab was nice and thick, but not too much (oatmeal consistency can be a problem apparently). For my entree, I had the Commodore's Toast (basically a seafood bisque) and really liked it. 4 stars easily. It was a huge portion and very flavorful. Two friends had the Salmon Almondine and were very happy with that (another huge portion and crushed almonds rather than slivers were a plus). My other two friends each had the special of the day: fried tilapia. It got an average review. We were celebrating a promotion of one friend, and the server offered the complimentary rocky road brownie sundae (typically given only for birthdays). I was too stuffed and not so into the chocolate, but my friends LOVED it. 5 stars. Overall this was a great place to come with friends because of the range in the menu. Next time I'd like to sit outside though.

Came here for a work meeting and I have to say I was pleasantly pleased with the wonderful food. The restaurant sits on a waterway so it's pretty cool to chill out and watch the boats go by while enjoying a crab salad or soft shell crab sandwich!! This is an out of the way place that worth the effort to find. Give it a try!

The 3 stars are for the location and view only. It's located right on the river so that makes for a nice atmosphere. Sitting inside feels like a cafeteria due to the decor. Our waitress Dawn was the worst! When the next table was seated and being served by another waitress, Dawn yelled over to that waitress standing at her table "dude you have to give me a few seconds" because she was annoyed that waitress had taken her table. OMG have your petty squabbles in the kitchen, not in front of the patrons. We couldn't taste the alcohol in our mixed drinks. I asked for a margarita without salt and sure enough I got it with salt which fell into the drink and ended up inside my straw. Our waitress didn't offer us water, we had to ask for it and for the refills. She brought us dessert on a dirty plate. The food was terrible. I wouldn't eat there again. The portions are huge so you really only need to order one entree to share with 2 people. I made a special request and our waitress raised her eyebrows annoyed saying she didn't know if the kitchen could do it. How can you be inconvenienced without even asking the kitchen first? The food was an overpriced disappointment.

My family and I decided to attend Carson's Valentines brunch. For $24 we got VERY dry scrambled eggs, dry bacon, hard french toast and pancakes. Everything tasted like it was sitting out for hours. They didn't have anything covered so it dryed out. But this was the kicker... when we got there, we sat down (it was self seating). We waited 5 minutes and finally had to ask a passing waitress "are we suppose to just get up? do we get our own drinks?" well she began to argue with another waitress RIGHT IN FRONT OF OUR TABLE who was going to get our table because apparently they felt they already had enough (there were litterally two other parties in the restaurant). Oh and the manager was standing right next to them! I could not believe it. Plus it's not like they were actually getting anything but drinks for us! It was a buffett!!! I've eaten there before and enjoyed the deck outside in the summer/spring but I probably will never go there again because of the terrible service, especially since we were paying so much for a special occasion.

A true hidden gem!!!! Due to there location I think alot of people have passed this one by. I went there years ago and it was average but I always ordered pub grub items and sandwiches. Tonight we went and had one of the most amazing meals in my life and I am truly a tough critic. I had Rockfish and shrimp in a leek and bacon bur blanc with roasted garlic mash potatoes and my girlfriend had shrimp scampi. The Rockfish and Shrimp were cooked to the perfect temperatures not drying them out or making them tough also the sauce was a perfect balance and richness of flavor. As far as the Scampi goes it was again well executed with the perfect balance of butter, lemon, and garlic it amazing how many places that can not get it right but Carson's nailed it. To top it all off I believe her name was Lisa was sharp and knew the items well and was excellent as our server. I will recommend Carson's to everyone it has a great view great service and outstanding food

Made our second trip to Carson's last evening. No reservation but had a waterside table in about 10 mins. Everyone is always very friendly. It is very casual. If you sit outside on the deck you are right on the water and the view is beautiful. Drinks came promptly and the wine was in a wine glass, so why do the serve a vodka & tonic in a plastic cup? The menu runs the gamut of sandwiches and appetizers to regular dinner entrees. I am beginning to think this is one of those place where you had better find what's good and stick to it. The cream of crab soup is delicious ( 2nd time we have had it). Unfortunately, last night it was barely warm. The shrimp scampi was good if you like it with a lot of garlic. The prime rib was ordered medium rare and I guess it was, but it was ugly. Gray! Came with a small cup of tasteless au jus. One of the worst prime ribs I've ever had. No flavor and so tough I really had to fight to cut it even with a steak knife. Just bad, bad, bad. The large baked potato...hardly warm. I would be tempted to wrrite this place off but the view is so nice I know we will return. But, we will stick to simple fair.

Had a pretty good time here on karaoke night, not sure what did it for me, the beers, the singing, the food or the view. I say the singing, there's nothing that ends the night on a better note than some bad singing from beautiful people or great singing by ugly ones. The mussels were great, and the happy hour prices were pretty good. Oh and idd I mention the top heavy skinny lady in the corset? Oh, the stories I could tell ya...

Service is awful. The staff isn't observant and we waited forever at both the table and the bar. Appetizers are great but the entrees aren't that great.

On the street past Doughboy's and Eddie B's but before the firehouse, is Carson's. A rather unassuming restaurant perched right on the river with pier. You could ride your boat to the restaurant, but since I don't have one, I didn't. Late in the evening, the bar was lively with karaoke and people enjoying an evening on the water filled the back porch. My mom decided to take me to this place after hearing about it from her patient. She raved about the beautiful views and the delicious food, but my mom likes different things than I do. I was a little skeptical. Upon arriving to the restaurant, a breathless waitress told me that it had been a very busy night, and this was reaffirmed when I tried to order the crab cakes. Lo and behold, they were out of crab meat! It was almost like the time when we went to Bennigan's for my brother's birthday and they were out of potatoes! Luckily, they had enough crab meat for the Cream of Crab soup and the Stuffed Shirmp I had for my entree but not enough for a crab cake. Overall the food was good if a little heavy and a tiny bit salty, but the saltiness may have come from sitting over the water. The soup was excellent and what crab meat it did have was amazing! I loved the Sweet Potato Fries and the cole slaw. My mom raved about the salmon which one of her neighbors recommended that she gets. The service was impeccable. I would describe it as typical Wilson Point Maryland friendly outstanding service. Our server was incredibly polite and nice. Since she was so busy, she brought me a pitcher of iced tea and sneaked over a small plate of asparagus when I was too indecisive to choose between the cole slaw, sweet fries, and asparagus. I would definitely go there again because the service was outstanding and the food was good. My only complaint besides being out of crab meat was that one person who parked their boat on their pier startled the peaceful night with the roaring of his engine. The view was wonderful and the service outstanding.

been here twice. the first time i was knocked off my socks by the clam chowdah. went last week, and it was good. got a crabcake sandwich for lunch with the sweet potato fries. in my excitement i forgot to order the clam chowder. dammit. the crabcake made up for it. cooked perfectly, mostly crab, little filling. only bad thing was there was no sauce on the sandwich. no mayo. no tarter. no cracked mustard crab sauce. nothing. by the time the waitress came back i was done. we had gotten there about 2 or 3 and were the only ones there. when we go to martin state airport, thats where we go cause its close. def recommend it.

Went last night for dinner with a groupon. I've been there before, but usually for lite fare and drinks. We decided to opt for entrees this time since we were both so hungry. I got the Commodores toast. Thought it was pretty darned good! Nice chunks of properly cooked shrimp and scallops. How nice! It clearly states on the menu it comes with ONE SIDE. I guess there may have some been some confusion in the past. After scouring the menu thoroughly, I didn't see the list of sides. I really didn't want to be the one to bother our already busy bartender with such a stupid question. Thankfully, she confirmed, there is no list of sides to be found and I wasn't being 'that idiot that can't read.' Hubby got the Chicken Isabella. The dish was a little gross. The 'beurre blanc' was a suspicious shade of brownish? It was more like soupy grease. The chicken wasn't horrible, but, I'm glad I didn't order that one. :-) Just sayin...... The place started filling up and the bartender was running around like crazy. Seemed a little disorganized. I hated bothering her for that second glass of wine, but, it was really important to me to have that second glass. The prices are very reasonable. I opted for a better than house wine and it was only $7.50. Yay! I think we'll definitely go back. Maybe just a little earlier so it's not so hectic.

My husband and I won a gift certificate to Carson's a few weeks ago. We decided to make a night of it and invite some friends to join us. We were promptly seated outside on the porch as we requested. We ordered a couple of glasses of wine and an appetizer and sat and waited for our friend's to arrive. What a lovely view! I highly recommend the calamari! Very nice Our waitress kept coming over and asking us when our friends were going to show up. We then realized that it was her intention to move us to a table for 2, we were currently seated at a table for 6. My friends had phoned and told me that they were stuck in traffic on the Beltway and would be a bit longer. Our waitress started giving us the evil eye, a few minutes later she came over to the table and said, "I think you would be more comfortable at another table". I ask you, is that any way to ask someone if they mind switching tables? I was ticked! I did get up and move but, the waitress never said, thank you or offered us a beverage for our inconvenience. She lost a star on that one! My friends finally showed up and we ordered several rounds of drinks as well as dinner. My husband and his friend both ordered the seafood marinara which I had a little taste of and I loved it. The guys obviously loved it too since they became members of the clean plate club. My friend ordered the seafood salad wrap which came with a massive amount of seafood wrapped in a flour tortilla. It was very reasonably priced especially for the large amount of seafood. I ordered a dish called Chicken Isabel. I was nicely surprised with a grilled chicken breast topped with asparagus, crab and a lovely sauce. We all agreed that our dinner was wonderful! I would definitely visit Carson's again! If you go make reservations, and go early. The place gets pretty lively! It's a great place to go to have a fun night with friends!

(5)Ed M.
It's only worth going if you can sit outside on the river. Other than that, the food is bland and overpriced, as are the drinks. The service isn't anything special, and the inside is very outdated.
(2)Larry F.
Over priced bar food at best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Service was bad! Prices were bad! Food was average at best!!
(2)Ashley W.

Wonderful experience, good food, and great service. Went the extra extra mile to make my Mother's birthday special. ~Thank you Heather and staff for taking care of us.

(4)Leyla K.
(5)Pamela K.
(4)Derek P.
Never disappointing. My wife and I new favorite place by the water. The steam mussels are fantastic and you want to keep the sauce to dip bread into. The seafood wrap gives you the best of both worlds. A crab cake and shrimp salad. I highly recommend Carson's Creek.
(5)Lee F.
Wings were pretty good. Entrees good as well. Nice atmosphere. Waitress was great and very friendly.

(3)Elaine W.
Love! The hosts Gary & Debbie could not be nicer people. Why go to one of those chains in White Marsh when you can get great food right in your own backyard! Their food is consistently good as is the service. They also have terrific and smart bartenders.
(5)Mary S.

(5)Rach K.

(5)Mark P.
(4)David K.
Food was good but the atmosphere was not. It was so loud in the restaurant that my ears were ringing. Couldn't even have a conversation with the people at my table. We were a little upset when we ordered asparagus and only received 4 pieces for $4. So overall is was an average experience.
(3)Chris P.
(5)Diwi G.
(3)Sonya A.
Nice family restaurant as well as happy hour spot.. Karaoke is fun during the week... Right on the water, great view. Love the salads and mushroom Swiss burgers cooked to order.
(4)Dante T.
Great waterfront location. Gets a little crazy around the bar weekend nights especially during the boating season. Food is good though. Decent crab cakes and crab soup.
(4)Rachel O.
(3)Christian S.
(5)Dave F.
Food is pretty good, nice portions. If you like great views, add an extra 1/2 star. Child-friendly too.
(3)Lemon C.
(3)Katie L.
(3)Jeff C.
(5)Steve W.

(4)Robert P.
Service is awful. The staff isn't observant and we waited forever at both the table and the bar. Appetizers are great but the entrees aren't that great.
(2)Sara F.
